SUPRIYA COHEN
I come from a family of well known artists, my maternal grandfather SRI KESHAVRAO. R DESHPANDE was a renowned artist and sculptor in Pune and my mom was trained by him. The talent is probably filtered down to me, however as much as I wanted to pursue art as my career , I have remained a hobby artist and have not received any formal education in arts but I am very passionate about art and love painting in oil and acrylics and endeavor to capture the essence and beauty nature and our surroundings have to offer us.
I have had a few individual and group exhibitions and taken part in competitions. A few prizes received are mentioned below.
2nd prize -Ravi Paranjpe -2020
Swarnim Vijay Varsh contest- Indian army, painting was selected for top 65 entries in India.
Albercht Durer award- Reflect international 2023
