PRACHI MISHRA
Emerging Artist
Artist Prachi Mishra was born and brought up in Jharsuguda, Odisha.
She started as a self-taught artist and later enrolled for a visual arts program in Bangalore.
Prachi has participated in group exhibitions at London, Mumbai and Kochi and has conducted art workshops for kids and art therapy classes such as doodle, mandala, dot art etc.
She has also worked closely with interior designers to create life-size paintings for their clients.
She creates abstract art and is very fond of nature inspired artworks.
“My choice of colours is bright and vibrant. I work mostly with acrylics and mixed media.
I like versatility therefore I keep experimenting different concepts in my artworks and prefer designs, patterns, texture and detailing in my artworks,” she says. Prachi is an Engineer by qualification.
She has worked in Business Excellence at Vedanta Aluminum Ltd, Jharsuguda, Odisha.

Achievements :
- Prachi won the first prize as an Emerging Artist in the painting category representing Chhattisgarh at Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation, MUMBAI (Nehru Centre).
- Prachi created an artwork named “Wisdom” and secured a place among the Top 150 Artworks in Emerging Artist category at MOJARTO (an NDTV Venture).
- As an expecting mother, Prachi bagged the best Poster Award for spreading awareness about breast feeding at an event organised by Columbia Asia Hospital, PUNE on the 25th Anniversary Celebration of World’s Breastfeeding Week, published in Navbharat.
- Prachi participated in Arte En Casa (A group Exhibition of Emerging artists & Professional Eminent artist like D P Sibal, curated by Art Aroma held at Nehru Centre, LONDON).
- Prachi participated in a group exhibition at Darbar Art Gallery, KOCHI Prachi's SOLO Art Exhibition 2023 was held at Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda, Odisha inaugurated by the Airport Director, VSS Airport , Odisha.
- Prachi was selected in an Online Art Exhibition by Art Avenue for International Brooklyn Award 2024 & was among Top 100 Artists.
- Currently conducts Art Class (Offline / Online) for kids & Grownups.
Ideology :
Prachi believes Artists create & explore different subjects surrounding them and put forward their perspective which in turn spreads awareness, positivity, and hope among the viewers.
Meditation inspires in the whole process of making a unique artwork.
She pursues designs, animals, birds, landscapes and nature inspired artworks in vibrant colours.
Art is everywhere because art is a visual display of human expressions & belief system.
One can survive without the existence of art but one lives life optimally with the presence of art.
Dream Project :
Her dream project is to work for an assignment related to our nation which should include the cultural heritage of India.
She would like to continue her artistic journey throughout life and reach out to a global audience.
