The entwining of self & thoughts not only exposes & brings to form varied human behaviour through sculptors but also appeals to the veteran artist time & now. Every such meticulously chiseled sculptor on the walls of temples attempts to communicate something. The artists have depicted the lady in variety of behaviours as pulling out a thorn from her feet, removing nupur having being tired of dancing, playing a musical instrument or applying kajal in her eyes. These facial expressions & gestures are attractive, enthralling & spell bounding. Art inherits history, social culture & tradition in itself. The temples in India are bountiful of such sculptors portraying feminine beauty called as .Sursundari.. Every time I admire these treasured sculptors they urge an artist like me to bring it on canvas.
