Priyanka Jagangada (Women's Artist Group)

CAREER AS AN ARTIST
Ms. Priyanka Hanumanta Jagangada is an artist. She has completed her 6 years
bachelor’s degree in visual arts as well as one year Graphic designing course. she
has successfully completed her first Warli Painting Project. From last four years she is
working on Coffee paintings, which is one of the types of Mural art, consisting of
ceramic designs coated with coffee powder. Coffee painting includes Egyptian,
Madhubani, Chinese, Warli, Haida etc arts. Some of her paintings are fusion of acrylic
colours and coffee powder, more than 60 coffee paintings are completed till date.
Currently, Priyanka is also engaged in Drawing, Warli Paintings and Coffee Paintings
coaching classes (including Grade exams) for children.
Priyanka’s one of the Warli Painting works which is much bigger in size of 27’x 10’ is
displayed on the wall of PD Karkhanis auditorium in the Lala Lajpatrai Bhavan of
Vidyarthi Sahayak Samitee, Pune. Her work is registered in GOVERNMENT OF
INDIA MINISTRY OF TEXTILES OFFICE OF THE DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSIONER and she got an Identity Card of it.


THE EXHIBITIONS & WORKSHOPS
1.Group show with Women’s Artist Group - Nov. 2014, Pune.
2.Solo show performed at kala ghoda street art gallery Mumbai, Dec.2014.
3.Solo show performed at India Rising, Chembur, Jan.2015.
Priyanka conducts Warli art workshop every year in the month of May, at Agakhan
Palace and Saswad near Pune. In the year 2012, she conducted Warli art Workshop
at Goa, and many more.

An article about her Coffee paintings was published in one of the leading Marathi
newspaper Sakal (Pune edition) on 17.05.2013 under caption with “Warlichi Coffee
Kala”. In Feb. 2014.
Second Article about her Coffee paintings was published in Sakal Today (Pune
edition) on 28.02.2015 under caption with “Coffeetun chitranchi duniya”.
Third Article about her was published in Sakal (All Maharashtra edition) on 3.08.2015
in ladies first (success mantra) section under caption with “ Chitrakalet ‘Passion’ chi
garaj “.
